Sun ‘Oh’ mine
Why oh why
Does the sun now cry
On sunny days
I wouldn’t lie
A cloud would part
As light would dart
Through a skyward window
And kindle my heart
But oh sky
Clouds
A chance I could make
Clouds looming over
A warm wind to shower
Why oh why
Does the sun now cry
A timely distraction
In this sun filled July
A cloud would part
Then I could start
Make for distractions
That warm my heart
But sun
Oh mine
Retreat as you climb
Behind milky clouds
You forever will shine
And start this tear
For a world of mine
To know your cold shoulder
Your warmth is still kind
